As recent reports have suggested, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long, former SmackDown general manager, is expected to return at WWE Draft Night One.

PWInsider elite reported that the 75-year old Hall of Famer Teddy Long will make an appearance at Night One of Draft on SmackDown. This will take place this Friday night. In the report, it was stated that Teddy Long will be appearing in Texas on Friday Night SmackDown. Uncertain is his role in the draft. It’s safe, however, to assume that his role will be a major one in the draft.
Teddy Long is a WWE fanatic. He has appeared sporadically since retiring as SmackDown’s General Manager. Long was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 He is still an icon from the past of WWE. The Hall of Famer’s return will surely excite fans. Right now, it’s not clear if he’ll be on SmackDown only or Raw too.
Who else will be appearing on the first night of the draft?
The NXT Tag team Pretty Deadly might be appearing on SmackDown next week, although this has not been confirmed. PWInsider Elite also reported that Elton Prince, Kit Wilson and others will be appearing on Night One at the Draft.
This news is coming right after the “NXT Spring Breakin”, which took place on Tuesday, and in which Tony D’Angelo & Channing Lorenzo defeated Pretty Deadly for the first time ever. Pretty Deadly was thrown into a nearby lake by the duo. The black and gold brand seemed to be done with them. Pretty Deadly could even be promoted to SmackDown.
