Bad Bunny, an internationally acclaimed artist, appeared on WWE SmackDown recently to save WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. He worked with the LWO in order to rescue Mysterio when The Judgement Day attacked him.
Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgement Day competed in the main match on the Friday night SmackDown episode that aired live from San Juan Puerto Rico.
The 2023 WWE Hall of Famer and Vega won the match against The Judgement Day despite the distractions that Finn Balor caused throughout the match. Rey Mysterio was outnumbered by Finn Balor Dominik Mysterio, and Damian Priest as soon as the final match ended.
Bad Bunny then made his way to the ring, where he was greeted by a massive crowd. The LWO took out Finn balor and Dominik Mysterio, while Priest and Bunny stared each other down. Dominik would save Priest as soon as Bunny entered the ring and attacked Priest.
On May 6, the three-time Grammy Award-winner will face Damian Priest at WWE Backlash. Bad Bunny will compete in his third WWE match after WrestleMania and Royal Rumble.
Damian Priest, Bad Bunny and others are familiar faces in the ring
Bad Bunny and Damian Priest will be facing each other on Saturday, at WWE Backlash. But this will not be the first time they share a ring. They had previously teamed up for a match with The Miz and John Morrison during WrestleMania. The artist made his in-ring debut in this highly acclaimed match.
He showed that he was a serious student of the sport by the moves and skills he displayed during the match. Bunny’s Canadian Destroyer on Morrison was a talk-point. He is one of the few WWE artists with the in-ring talent and passion to compete.
Bad Bunny has been a good friend of Damian Priest outside of WWE. Both are from Puerto Rico, and they share similar interests.
