Netflix released a documentary about McGregor’s life, McGregor Forever on 17 May. The documentary provided crucial information about the claims McGregor made after his fight against Khabib Numagomedov.
The video shows Conor McGregor being taken down in a sparring match. McGregor stops the sparring to show the pain in the thumb. His trainer checks on him because he can’t walk on his own. The trainer corrected the problem after McGregor looked worried. McGregor stated, “It feels fine.” It feels like a couple of toes. “I f**ked up my toes nine days before the battle.”
McGregor claims that he injured his leg before the 2018 fight with Khabib Numagomedov. Detractors, however, called it an “excuse.” The documentary revealed more information about the injury. McGregor stated, ” my foot was a ballon,” to indicate the condition of his feet following his loss.
Khabib was the superior fighter for most of their fight at UFC 229. McGregor was unable to get up after being knocked down. Khabib knocked McGregor to the ground for a third time during round four, and then submitted him with a neck crank.

Khabib announced his retirement from MMA after the death of his father at UFC 254. Netflix’s documentary on McGregor revealed the Irishman’s reaction to Khabib’s decision to retire. He said: “He had retirement in his mind. He didn’t want to be there. “It is what it is.”
Netflix has the documentary. The documentary shows Conor’s journey from a young boy to the superstar that he is now. McGregor has always wanted to fight Khabib again. Khabib was unable to continue fighting following the death of Khabib’s father.
