CSK won the final by 5 wickets over Gujarat Titans (GT) to win a record-equaling five IPL Trophies at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Monday 29th May. They have now equaled Mumbai Indians record for most IPL trophies.
As expected, several videos of that moment went viral immediately after the win. The most popular videos were those that showed Dhoni reacting.

Deepak Chahar, in an episode of Breakfast with Champions aired a previously unheard story about MS Dhoni and how he overruled coach Stephen Fleming’s decision regarding team composition.
Chahar was signed by CSK for 2018 after playing his first match in 2016 under Dhoni. Chahar was initially reluctant to be played by Fleming, but Dhoni insisted on giving him all 14 matches.
Chahar stated that “in 2018, CSK selected me in the auction and Fleming refused to play me. Mahi bhai disagreed, stating, ‘He is going to play all 14 games this year,'” Chahar said. “Our CEO revealed to me that my name was always the first .” when our team was formed.
