Delhi Capitals have fallen to their lowest point in the Indian Premier League since Rishabh Pan was replaced as captain. DC have lost five of their last six games, and they are the worst team in the league in terms of net run rate (-1.488). The Capitals have lost from winning positions, and they have been eliminated in contests right from the start. The Capitals will be looking for their first point when they take on the Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 28 of IPL 2023, on April 20.
Shreyas has had back surgery and KKR is without its regular skipper. Their performances, however, have been superior as shown by their positive run rate and their two victories in five matches.

Capitals must score big because their middle order, which includes Rilee Rosouw, Manish Pantdey, Yashdhull, Rovman Poole, Abishek porel, and Sarfaraz khan, has not been very successful. The Capitals’ best bet is to hope that the top three players deliver.
DC will face a team with a clearly lacking bowling attack. This is good news. KKR pacers were disappointing this year. Umesh, Tim, Lockie, Shardul, Thakur, and Andre Russell did not perform as expected.
Knight Riders spin trio Sunil Narine Varun Chakaravarthy and Suyash sharma will be able to play right into their hand. DC’s batting lineup isn’t suited to face spinners. This is especially true since Axar patel was not given the opportunity.
It appears, however, that the Capitals are better than their opponents. The Capitals have some deadly bowlers that can break through the Kolkata batsmen’s order. They also expect a number key players to put on memorable performances.
DC will open their IPL account for 2023 on Thursday despite the fact KKR have a good chance.
