The Golden State Warriors lost the first two matches of the series. There are some players that won’t be able to play the next game as the series continues in the Bay.
After the Game 2 incident Draymond green received a one game suspension without a penalty. Warriors’ star forward will be missing during Game 3 of the crucial series.
Draymond green stepped on Domantas, causing him to be injured. Sabonis was taken out of the game immediately afterward and had to have an X-ray done on his chest. The Kings will be favored in Game 3 with Green out of the Dubs.
Does Domantas Sabonis play tonight?
Sabonis avoided injury after a negative X ray scan but had to undergo additional testing Tuesday. Sabonis is listed as questionable to play tonight, but according to Mike Brown, it’s likely that Domantas could be in the lineup. Sabonis also participated in the Kings practice ahead of Game 3
Sabonis is averaging 18.5 points and 12.50 rebounds against the Dubs. Domantas is the one who has kept the Kings alive both on the boards and on the defensive end. The Warriors will find it difficult to hold off the Kings with the Serbian power forward most likely to play. The Warriors will need to win Game 3, as if they lose it, the series is over.
Can Domantas play well in Game 3?
Although the injury did not affect Domantas much, it is safe to assume that he won’t have any minute limitations or be forced to play from the bench. Sabonis can now take on the role of the big man, as Draymond is not available. Domantas, on the other hand, has been playing well and if he continues to play the same, the Kings will have an easy victory.
The Warriors have seen their fortunes plummet pretty quickly. The Dubs had never faced such a challenge. It was definitely a bad start, and without their star forward, the Game 3 will be even more difficult.
