Aljamain sterling, and Henry Cejudo battled for the UFC Bantamweight Championship at UFC 288. Aljamain Sterling was the winner of this fight by split decision. Conor McGregor mocked Cejudo and offered to coach Henry Cejudo. Cejudo replied to the offer at the press conference following the fight.
Conor McGregor is not happy with the criticisms Henry Cejudo made on social media over the years about his style. Cejudo, an Olympic wrestler who won gold in the sport during his hiatus from wrestling, mocked and analyzed some of Conor McGregor’s moves as part of his ‘coaching’. After nearly three years away, he returned to the octagon at UFC 288, where he faced Aljamain sterling.
Both fighters gave an amazing performance. Sterling won the fight by split decision. Conor McGregor used this opportunity on Twitter to mock Henry Cejudo. McGregor bet on Sterling’s victory and congratulated the ‘Funk Master” on his performance. McGregor mocked Cejudo and “Coach MacDaddy” offered Cejudo training lessons.
Cejudo held a press conference after the fight. A reporter raised this topic. Cejudo was amused when he told him what Conor said. He said“Conor McGregor doesn’t have s*** in my resume. That’s all I’ve got to say.” Conor McGregor said, “What I did, and competing, and hearing the cheers when they announced the winning, that means a lot to my…it’s fine, man, please bring the hatred, maybe it will motivate me.”

Conor McGregor used social media to promote the highly-anticipated match that took place this weekend. He commented on both the main and co-main events of UFC 288. McGregor was ecstatic after Aljamain Sterling beat Henry Cejudo. He thanked Aljo for his victory and revealed that he bet on the fighter. “Easiest money I’ve ever made. Aljo is untouched! “Congratulations Funkmaster!” said he. The Notorious went on to criticize Cejudo’s performance in the battle.
Henry is a good fighter, but stop bringing up these agendas. He has had less than 20 fights. Please teach me how to mastermind. He wrote: “I did the splits and got thrown on my a** like a stripper. McGregor made a video mocking Cejudo’s moves in octagon. He later deleted the video.
McGregor will return to the ring in later this year. He will reportedly fight Michael Chandler with whom he recently shot ESPN’s “The Ultimate Fighter 31”. McGregor has not been in the octagon for UFC since Dustin poirier injured his leg during their trilogy fight. McGregor is active on social networks and has been involved with a number of other ventures including his Netflix documentary and debut film opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
