Elena Rybakina had a “grand” start to the year by reaching her second Grand Slam Final at the Australian Open. This will be the fourth time that both players have met since their first meeting at the Linz Open, in 2019. The Latvian is 2-1 in the match-winning battles with Rybakina. In their last encounter at the Australian Open the 23-year old defeated Ostapenko straight sets in the Quarterfinals.
