Lakers Coach Stopped LeBron James and co. From Entertaining Grizzlies

NBA playoffs get more and more exciting. In Game 2, the Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers led the series by a 1-0 score going into this highly anticipated matchup. The Grizzlies missed a key player, J. Morant. The Lakers took advantage of the fact that Ja Morant was not playing today due to an injury to his hand. Memphis, however, outdid the purple and gold men.

The Grizzlies had a dominant performance. The Grizzlies led the game by up to 20 points. LeBron scored 28 points to lead Los Angeles. The players had to be competitive in a low-scoring thriller. There were many tensions between James and Dillon Brooks. The Lakers, despite James’s impressive performance, lost the game by a score of 93-103. Memphis also tied the series at 1-1.

After the altercation that occurred between James and Brooks the assistant coach of the Lakers, Phil Handy, posted an Instagram story. Although a story may seem innocent, many believe that it was meant to be a slur on the Grizzlies. Handy posted a photo that read, “Don’t Blame a Clown for Acting Like a Clown.” You should ask yourself why you continue to go to the circus .”. He captioned his post with Let that sink in.”

Fans believe that Phil Handy called Dillon Brooks “a clown” after they got into a verbal spat. Handy’s followers believe this was Handy’s attempt to tell James not to be amused by the Grizzlies. Brooks and his Grizzlies have a reputation for verbal trash-talking during games. Grizzlies’ forward Brooks has a reputation for getting into fights with opponents. This could be a warning to his players to not engage in his tactics.

What do the Lakers’ players look like ahead of Game 3 on Wednesday?

The Lakers were unable to defeat the Grizzlies even without Ja Morant. The Grizzlies shocked everyone, even though most fans and critics predicted a 2-0 Lakers advantage. LeBron Davis and Anthony Davis discussed their Game 2 defeat and future plans at the postgame conference.

“Every single game is a unique entity, so you have to prepare for it, “James explained when asked how his team views the challenges of upcoming series. James was asked if they had any plan or if Memphis simply outplayed the Lakers. He responded, “I thought we were well prepared.” He said, “We just didn’t perform as well as in Game One.”

The Lakers will play at home in Los Angeles. The team played well after the mid-season period and will try to win the series at home.

The Grizzlies have, however, been one of this season’s most dominant teams. The Grizzlies are not a team that gives up easily. They are ranked 2nd in the West. The series is tied after one game each. It will be interesting to see the performance of both teams in the next games.
