WWE has a number of rules and guidelines which their superstars must follow. WWE has added a new rule to its book. According to reports, WWE superstars cannot post photos of their injuries to social media.
Wrestling is a dangerous sport. Wrestlers are often injured despite their best efforts. Sometimes, wrestlers will post pictures of their injuries to social media. It could be to gain extra attention or to inform their fans about an injury. WWE superstars are no longer allowed to share such photos on social media.
WWE stars have been sharing images of their injuries for the past few seasons, whether it’s on Instagram or Twitter. Even WWE stars like Bray Wyatt and Dijak have used Twitter to share graphic images of their fractured fingers. From now on, no wrestlers will be posting these pictures. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live there is a new rule prohibiting WWE wrestlers posting graphic images of their injuries.
WWE is right to not want their stars’ pictures going viral online. Britt Baker showing her bruised face in a T shirt is a great example. A WWE star should not also show off their injuries on social media to gain clout. It’s possible that their posts could be deemed to graphic and lead to their profile being suspended. Fans can take pictures of superstars who are injured at live events, but the stars themselves will not be able post them online.
WWE allows their superstars stream again on Twitch
WWE has some ridiculous rules. One of them is that their stars are prohibited from streaming on third party platforms such as Twitch. This led to WWE star Zelina Vea being suspended, but she was later rehired.
WWE removed this rule in recent times, allowing superstars on other platforms to stream. The company even struck a deal to let their stars stream on Twitch.
Many fans ridiculed this rule, arguing that the company shouldn’t dictate the personal lives of their stars outside the company.
