Sami Zayn has been a prominent star in WWE. He is the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion. Zayn recently tweeted that he would like to wrestle with NJPW wrestler Kota Ibushi one last time before retiring. Sami Zayn made his name on the independent scene prior to signing with WWE.
In a viral video, Kota Ibushi , former IWGP Heavyweight Champ, was seen shooting fireworks from atop a vehicle. Ibushi shot a firework into the sky while holding a fireworks in his hand. The NJPW star is also seen firing the fireworks towards the audience, which left them shocked. The video went viral and has received a lot from fans and wrestlers.
Sami Zayn was one of the most famous stars to react to the video. El Generico, a 38-year old wrestler who has been in the independent scene for ten years, is one of his biggest fans. He met some of the biggest wrestlers in the world, including Kota Ibushi and Kevin Steens. Many indie fans fondly remember these matches, which were widely acclaimed.
Sami Zayn reacted to the viral video by saying Ibushi was a lunatic and a gift for pro-wrestling. He also said he wanted to wrestle with the NJPW star before Zayn’s career was over. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens currently hold the WWE Tag Team Championships. The Usos won the title at WrestleMania39 after a highly-acclaimed feud between The Bloodline and The Duo.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zyan are heading towards a new feud
Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and finally defeated The Usos after months of feuding. They were also drafted by WWE to Raw this year during the Draft. They will defend their tag titles on the red label in a new feud.
In the most recent episode of Raw they took on the team of Giovani Vicini and Ludwig Kaiser, in a match which was pre-arranged at the start of the episode. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and The Imperium defeated each other in the non-title Raw main event. Zayn’s and Owens’ move to the red-brand will be a new beginning for both of them.
The other tag-teams that were drafted for Raw include The Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios. Braun Strowman, Ricochet, The New Day and The Judgment Day. The tag team division will be very interesting on Monday Night Raw.
