The Deadman is still shivering after attending a WWE event. The Undertaker also had a similar experience at WrestleMania this year. He didn’t take part in the build-up on screen leading up to Los Angeles. But he was there to see the whole thing live. It’s a lie that Taker was completely absent from the WrestleMania festivities.
In a recent conversation with The Independent, the WWE Hall of Famer covered a wide range of topics. He first talked about his transition from a 30-year-old in-ring wrestler to a modern family man. The former World Champion then detailed her WrestleMania experience. The Phenom was able to catch up on everything from the luxury suite of the SoFi stadium.
The Undertaker raised some eyebrows after experiencing the chaos in the stadium. In that moment, his mind clicked into place that he shouldn’t have been enjoying the royalties but should’ve actually been in that ring. The decorated performer that is Undertaker hasn’t died yet. Although Taker has not overruled his judgement and has committed to retiring, nothing is impossible in the wrestling business.
“I was at WrestleMania 39 and my family and my friends were watching the show in a suite. I found myself kind of rocking in my seat like, “oh my gosh I should be there”. In those situations, it is there. I still have it in my head and in my heart
When was The Undertaker’s last WWE appearance?
In January of this year, WWE celebrated the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw. The company wanted to make this episode special for the historical occasion. The company invited several torchbearers to the historic promotion in order to boost the ratings and make the feat more audacious. The Undertaker was one of the names that graced the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia.
He interrupted a promotion from LA Knight. The Reaper was furious after the former Eli Drake insulted the legends that came to the Anniversary Special. The arena went crazy when the gong rang. This ominous mood was soon transformed into something different. Taker revived his American badass image for the first 20 years.
Then, LA Knight entered the ring, and rolled away from the danger. Knight, after a few minutes of trash-talking, was confronted by Bray Wyatt. The former Eater of Worlds defeated his opponent from the Royal Rumble and faced The Undertaker. After a short moment, Taker whispered into Wyatt’s ear, and then left the ring. It was as if he had passed the torch on to Bray.
