This Ex WWE Champion Will Leave the Company Soon After WrestleMania 39 Loss

Recent reports suggest that Drew McIntyre, the former WWE Champion from Scotland and a Psy*chopath may be leaving WWE in the near future. Drew was last spotted wrestling in the triple threat InterContinental title bout at WrestleMania.

Many experts and fans rated the match between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus and Gunther as a 5-star match. Drew McIntyre was one of many reasons why the match became a classic. His performance was also highly praised.

It was reported that Drew McIntyre would not be resigning with WWE. Drew McIntyre’s contract will expire at the end of 2023. He will then become a free-agent in 2024.

Drew has not been seen for over a week. Drew is said to be out of action for some unknown medical reasons. Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer thinks Drew will not be in action for a couple of weeks.

McIntyre was also recently drafted for Monday Night Raw. When McIntyre comes back, there is a high chance that he will book as the most prominent heel for the red brand. Drew McIntyre may resign if he gets a good role at the company.

Drew McIntyre is no longer part of Money in the Bank?

Money in the Bank 2023 is set to be held at the O2 Arena on the 1st of July 2023. This pay-per view is unique in that it will be held in the UK. The show will feature all the top Raw and SmackDown stars.

Drew McIntyre is one of the names that have been taken off the ads. Drew McIntyre is not a part of WWE’s biggest pay-per view.

Drew could be suffering from a serious illness or leaving earlier than expected. Drew could leave before July, and join other competitions like AEW Impact or ROH.
