The departure of Shannon Sharpe from Undisputed may be the most important headline in recent times. The former TE gave some great takes and was very effective while he was in the booth.
His contract ends in June, and he will say goodbye to the show. Sharpe worked on the show with Skip Bayless , who was deemed ‘unworkable.’
McCoy retired from the NFL in recent years. He was a teammate of the legendary QB Tom Brady when he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McCoy, 35, began his career in television as a host for FS1’s SPEAK.
According to Front Office Sports a report, McCoy will have an audition for Fox to become a cohost of the Undisputed. LeSean Mccoy is an experienced athlete who has shared Super Bowl rings with Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
McCoy may have a hard time finding a job with Fox because of one specific reason. Skip Bayless is reportedly unwilling to work with anyone other than Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Shannon Sharpe, on the other hand will either start his own NFL show or join forces with other NFL analysts.
Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have parted ways due to disagreements
The Undisputed was a great show because Shannon Sharpe, and Skip Bayless were two opposing personalities that never agreed on any issues. Sharpe left the show after professional differences turned personal.
Sharpe is one of the most exciting analyst prospects on the market today. Sharpe is expected to sign a contract for a new show soon or will get his own at a later date. Fox will find it hard to replace him, as Bayless has been a part of the Fox family for so long.
Since 2007, the former Denver Broncos TE is on Undisputed. The replacement must be of the same quality, if not better. Many believe Michael Irvin, not LeSean Mccoy, will replace Sharpe in the Undisputed booth.
ESPN has suspended the former Cowboys’ player for an alleged conversation with a woman employee. Shannon Sharpe, on the other hand has not revealed what he plans to do in the future.
