Triple H’s The Game had a special surprise for Raw fans. He entered the ring to reveal the new World Heavyweight Championship Belt. The Night of Champions will crown the new champion.
Night of Champions will be the next PLE following Backlash on May 27. Triple H assured fans that the new champ would not be Roman Reigns. Hunter added that the fans will no longer be forced to watch a single person hold all of the titles, and the new champ will be under a brand other than Roman Reigns.
Triple H stated, “We will crown the new World Heavyweight champion on Saturday, 27th May at Night of Champions. You will be proud to be associated with this champion. You can also admire and respect this champion. This champion will defend his championship everywhere, anytime, anywhere in the world. This champion won’t have to ask for your acknowledgement. This champion will not have to demand your acknowledgement. Thank you .”
This is a clear indication that WWE plans to bring some newness to their product. It is difficult to predict the winner of this title because there are so many candidates.
The fans may be able to see any wrestler from Raw, SmackDown or NXT. Roman Reigns’ future is also worth considering in light of the new title. With this announcement and the WWE Draft, which is set to happen soon, fans are ecstatic. Triple H made his announcement on YouTube.
Night of Champions 2023
The WWE Night of Champions Ple is set to happen on May 27, 2023. The original plan was to have a “King and Queen of the Ring Tournament”. WWE rebranded it Night of Champions.
This event will take place in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). This will be the ninth WWE event held in Saudi Arabia. This would also be the first Night of Champions after 2015. This event will feature a new World Heavyweight Championship match.
